Staying at sayeban hotel was a decent experience. The location is quiet yet close to the blue mosque was great. The terrace offered fine sea views, and breakfast was good with its fresh, hearty options. The staff were friendly and spoke russian, which helped with our needs.

Great atmosphere in the hotel, the staff is very helpful and kind. The hotel is in old city and it takes just 5 minutes to sultanahmet and grand bazaar. The view of the sea of marmara and istanbul from the terrace is wonderful. Breakfast is perfect. Mr. Fatih was very helpful and kind and arranged anything I needed. And the rooms are very clean and hygenic. They care of every detail. I felt very comfortable.

It was just a reliable pick for a weekend outing in Istanbul with good value for cost. The light in the room was insufficient, making it hard to see. Better to check the room's condition before settling in.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City!
Nestled on a quiet street, this hotel offers a convenient base to explore major sights like the Topkapi Palace. Breakfast on the terrace provides amazing views of the Sea of Marmara. The staff, especially Aydin at the front desk, are helpful in arranging excursions.

The views from the terrace during breakfast are amazing! The staff was super helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring. Only downside was the noise from nearby factories during the day 😅

Very good location with great rooftop terrace...Nice view over Old Sulthanamet and sea.
No air evacuation in the bathroom. In the night it was humid in the room. The Hotel has been renovated lately...(But unfortunately no european standard). But still a very good address for backpapers.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, comfy bed, elevator in a hotel, freshly refurbished. The bed was comfortable to sleep with a 7m/o between us. We all got sick on a day 3 of our trip and staff helped us with everything we needed including helping out to order a pizza delivery. We saw owner of the hotel many times so he is involved directly in his business, sits on a front desk from time to time etc. which is nice, u do feel that he cares for his guests. At a checkout guys booked a taxi to take us to the airport. The hotel itself is a great find. There are tons of fish restaurants 3 minutes down the street. The area consists of mostly small workshops. To get to, say, Blue Mosque you have to either walk 20-30 minutes or take a tram (2 stops). Hotel is located at a more quiet part of the street.
Im sure this info will be appreciated by parents of small children: Istanbul is a city that consists of lots of hills, please remember that when going there. We had our baby in a wrap sling the whole time which made it easier to move around. To get to a tram station u have to go 10- 15 minutes up a very steep hill. Alternatively, u can go further down the street to train station (depending on where u wanna go really).

I can't speak highly enough about the Sayeban. The staff were delightful, totally helpful in every way. The room was comfortable and immaculately cleaned every day. The view from the roof terrace was beautiful and the perfect place for breakfast which was fresh, tasty and adequate.
The hotel is at the bottom of a very steep hill - not for the unfit or faint-hearted.

cheap, quiet, very clean.wifi is good. with air condition and heating system. it is nearby fish plaza. the breakfast restaurant is very good view to have tea.
no kettle, no cup. location is a little bit poor. but it is safe. and it is on the down hill , each time to blue Mosque, I have to climb up for 5 minute walk to grand plaza. breakfast is expensive with not much choice.
